1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Q-Timer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Q-Timer ("we," "us," or "our").
2. Account & Authentication
You must authenticate through a supported identity provider (such as Google) to access the Service. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials;
- All activity that occurs under your account;
- Notifying us immediately at support@q-timer.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that show signs of unauthorized use or policy violations.
3. Description of Service
Q-Timer is a productivity and time-tracking SaaS application offering features including but not limited to: project management, hierarchical task tracking, time recording, analytics and reporting. We may update, extend, or retire features at any time. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice.
4. Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Prices are displayed exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days' notice.
5. Cancellation & Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier (if available). Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to the Service or other users.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purpose;
- Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the Service;
- Attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, or data;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the Service without express written permission;
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without authorization.
7. Your Data & Content
You retain all rights to content you upload, including projects, tasks, and time records ("Your Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit Your Data solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of Your Data.
You are responsible for ensuring Your Data does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party platforms including Google (for authentication) and Stripe (for payment processing). Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not liable for the conduct of third-party providers.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service (including software, design, trademarks, and content created by us) belong to Q-Timer or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Q-Timer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Q-Timer and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your use of the Service.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.
